“Miki’s
School of Rock” size: 20 x 26” acrylic on board model: Miki Black |
| Miki
was the original model for my first schoolgirl painting: “Miki’s
Final Exam”. Probably my most popular image to date, this image graced the cover of my first sketchbook, was licensed to stickers, dog tags and has even showed up on dozens of tattoos. |

| So
a second Miki Black schoolgirl painting was inevitible. Being a musician
herself, we collaborated and figured the best course of action to take... “ ROCK n’ ROLL”. |
|
| Miki and I met up at the glamourcon
in Los Angeles last November 2005 to shoot. This was a no-brainer... a sexy schoolgirl outfit, a Fender Strat, the standard “ Devil Horn” sign that Gene Simmons claims he invented when we ALL know it was Ronnie James Dio. |
|
| Throw in a lip-snarl that would make Billy Idol jealous and you’ve got “Miki’s School of Rock” | |
