In
1997, a limited edition print based on the painting: “Bottoms
Up”, from the “Blonde & Gagged” series
was produced by Dove Art. An erotic gallery based out of San Diego.
This 24x36” print was
limited to an edition size of 300 and was
-sold out- by
1999.
The print was produced in my hometown so I could be there to press check
the prints as they rolled off the press.
As with any offset printing, there is always an over-run.
JUMP AHEAD 7 YEARS.
I got a call from the original printer the beginning of the year.
He was moving his business to a new location, and while cleaning
out some back
store rooms. Found an unmarked package that contained the over runs
that I never picked up.
Now in my posession, I’m offering this print as an open edition.
Not numbered as the original edition was “Sold
Out”.
But still signed.
