 This new painting is my very first "Collaboration". I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, and took some time to figure out which artist I wanted to work with. I wanted someone with a very contrasting style. And since I already was a fan of his work, I approached "Chainsaw" Chuck Majewski to work with me. For those of you unfamiliar with Chuck's work, he is one of the premiere "Rat Fink", surf/ tiki artists working in the Kustom Kulture markets today. We came up with a theme... I shot model Ursula Mayes for my part... painted it and shipped it off to Chuck to do his thing. The result is a whimsical piece that showcases two different styles that work together well.
